Nowadays, Cyber security is the topmost priority for 84% of the Indian organizations.Reports stated that Companies in India are seeing a huge rise in the cyber security challenges after they started working from home.
Studies show that 73% of organizations in the country experienced a 25% or more increase in either cyber threats since the beginning of COVID-19.Resultant are a rising challenge for organizations to protect as users connect from their home Wi-Fi or use their personal devices to connect to corporate applications. Over half of the Companies in India said they expect working remotely even after pandemic This compares to an average of just 28% of organizations with more than half of their workforce working remotely before the pandemic. But again there are still left some challenges that needs to be looked into.
Nearly all organizations have made changes in their cyber security policies to support remote working, further simplicity and education are needed.
As per the study, 60% of Indian organizations said that having too many solutions to manage was a challenge faced in reinforcing cyber security protocols for remote working, followed by a lack of employee education and awareness
