Refund Policy
Understand Secure Blink's terms regarding pre-payments, upgrades, downgrades, and billing adjustments.

1. Overview
This Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to all subscriptions and purchases made through the Secure Blink Group for access to its products, including ThreatSpy and ThreatTrace (collectively, the "Products"). The applicable Secure Blink entity you are contracting with is determined by your location as set out in the Contracting Entity table in the Subscription Agreement or Master Subscription Agreement ("MSA").
By subscribing to or purchasing access to any Product, you ("Customer", "you", or "your") acknowledge and agree to this Policy. This Policy must be read in conjunction with the MSA or Subscription Agreement, Terms of Use, and Service Level Agreement, all of which govern your access to and use of the Products.
2. Secure Blink
"Secure Blink", "we", "us", or "our" means Secure Blink Tech Private Limited (India) and Secure Blink Inc. (USA), collectively operating as the "Secure Blink ", and any of their current or future subsidiaries, affiliates, or successor entities. Until such time as one entity becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of another, each entity contracts independently and is solely liable for its own obligations under this Policy.
3. General Payment Terms
All Products are provided on a prepaid subscription basis. Subscription Fees are due and payable in advance for the applicable billing cycle (monthly or annually) and are processed through Secure Blink's authorized payment gateway. Customers agree that:
- All payments are collected via automated, secure online routes.
- Subscription Fees are billed at the beginning of each billing period.
- Continued use of the Products constitutes acceptance of the applicable fees.
- All amounts are quoted exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, or levies unless expressly stated otherwise.
4. Non-Refundable Fees
Except as expressly set forth in Section 7 (Exceptions) of this Policy, all Subscription Fees and one-time charges are non-refundable. This includes:
- Fees for subscriptions canceled before the end of a billing cycle.
- Fees for Products accessed or partially used during a billing period.
- Fees for add-on features, professional services, or integration support.
- Annual subscription fees, whether or not the full term is utilized.
- One-time setup fees, onboarding fees, or implementation fees, if applicable.
Secure Blink will not issue prorated refunds, credits, or partial reimbursements for unused portions of any prepaid billing period, except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in a separately executed Order Form or Enterprise Agreement.
5. Subscription Cancellations
5.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time through their account dashboard or by submitting a written cancellation request to [email protected]. Upon cancellation:
- Access to the subscribed Product(s) will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period.
- No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends.
- No refund will be issued for the remaining unused portion of the current billing period.
- All Customer data will be retrievable for thirty (30) days following the end of the billing period. Customer data will be permanently purged from all Secure Blink systems, including backup media, within two hundred (200) days of the cancellation effective date, in accordance with Secure Blink's data retention practices.
5.2 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions are set to auto-renew unless canceled at least thirty (30) days before the renewal date. Customers are responsible for managing their renewal settings. Secure Blink will not issue refunds for charges resulting from auto-renewal where cancellation was not completed prior to the renewal date.
6. Upgrades and Downgrades
6.1 Upgrades
Customers may upgrade their subscription at any time. Upon upgrade:
- The new pricing takes effect immediately for the next billing interval.
- Additional features associated with the upgraded tier become accessible immediately upon payment confirmation.
6.2 Downgrades
Customers may request a downgrade, subject to the following:
- Downgrades take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle.
- No refunds or credits are issued for the pricing difference in the current billing period.
- Downgrading may result in loss of access to features, functionality, scan limits, or data associated with the higher-tier plan. Secure Blink bears no liability for any loss of data, functionality, or service continuity resulting from a customer-initiated downgrade.
- Customers are advised to export or retain any data that may be affected prior to the downgrade effective date.
7. Exceptions and Eligible Refund Scenarios
Notwithstanding Section 4, Secure Blink may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests in the following limited circumstances:
7.1 Duplicate Charges
If a Customer is charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a billing system error, Secure Blink will investigate and, if confirmed, issue a refund for the duplicate charge within fourteen (14) business days.
7.2 Product Unavailability
Where Secure Blink fails to meet the uptime commitments specified in the Service Level Agreement ("SLA"), and a Customer is eligible for a service credit as outlined therein, such credit will be applied to future invoices. Service credits are not exchangeable for cash refunds unless expressly agreed in an Enterprise Agreement.
7.3 Termination for Secure Blink's Uncured Material Breach
If the MSA or Subscription Agreement is terminated due to Secure Blink's uncured material breach, Secure Blink will provide the Customer a pro-rata refund of all prepaid but unused Fees for the affected Products.
7.4 Unauthorized Transactions
If a Customer identifies an unauthorized transaction, they must notify Secure Blink within seven (7) days of the charge at [email protected]. Secure Blink will investigate and, if verified, issue an appropriate resolution in line with the payment gateway's dispute resolution process.
7.5 Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes any rights a Customer may have under the mandatory consumer protection or financial services laws of their jurisdiction, including but not limited to:
- The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India)
- The California Consumer Legal Remedies Act (USA)
- The EU Consumer Rights Directive
- Any equivalent legislation in the Customer's jurisdiction
Where applicable law grants refund rights that cannot be contractually waived, those rights apply in addition to this Policy.
8. Free Trial Accounts
Customers using a free trial period for ThreatSpy or ThreatTrace are not eligible for refunds, as no fees are charged during the trial. Following trial expiry, if a Customer is charged due to auto-conversion to a paid plan without prior explicit consent, they may request a full refund within seven (7) days of the first charge by contacting [email protected].
9. Refund Request Process
To initiate a refund request under an eligible scenario:
- Contact Secure Blink's billing team at [email protected].
- Use the subject line: "Refund Request – [Account Name / Order ID]".
- Provide a clear description of the reason and supporting documentation (e.g., duplicate charge screenshots, transaction IDs).
- Secure Blink will acknowledge receipt within two (2) business days and provide a resolution within fourteen (14) business days.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method. Timelines for the credit to reflect may vary depending on the payment gateway and issuing bank.
10. Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact Secure Blink directly before initiating a chargeback. Unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Immediate suspension or termination of the Customer's account.
- Recovery of chargeback fees and associated costs.
- Escalation to legal proceedings where required.
11. Modifications to this Policy
Secure Blink reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted at www.secureblink.com/refund-policy with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Products following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
12. Governing Law
The governing law applicable to this Policy is determined by the Customer's contracting entity as set out in the Contracting Entity table within the MSA or Subscription Agreement. In the absence of a confirmed contracting entity, this Policy is governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India.
