The threat actors are using the Cobalt Strike to infect various firms’ networks with cyber attack. However, this kind of attack normally aims at organizations in various industries but this mainly aims on the education sector.
Recently, Microsoft is cautioning its users regarding suspicious fake advertisements. It has been found out that since the threat actors are using all malicious fake advertisement for Microsoft Teams updates so that it can affect and make a blunder with the systems of the victims.
Because of the covid-19 pandemic situation, the educational systems are now relying heavily on videoconferencing processes which is making an easy path for all the threat actors to attack the organization’s network.

Microsoft has stated that these methods are old and threat actors have already used this method for exploiting the networks.
Also it has been seen that this year WastedLocker operators grew some of the techniques by applying a multi-state attack chain and using signed binaries so that detection can be avoided.
This cyber attack has occurred through the SocGholish JavaScript framework which had been found earlier this year.
While there are dozens of threat actors who have hacked newspaper sites that are owned by the same company this year.The main intention of giving all suspicious fake advertisements is to attract the unsuspecting users into clicking it to install an attainable update by a poisoning search engine that affects through suspicious online advertisements.
The cyber security researchers also asserted that it’s essential to make sure that every user is aware of any potential warning signs implemented by the organizations.
